My First Stamped Scrapbook Page

I am in the process of working on a swap, and I decided to do a 6x6 scrapbook swap. Anyone who knows me, I haven't grasp the concept of incorporating my stamping into scrapbooking. So this swap is an adventure for me. I have been banging my head trying to come up with a design, and finally I got one. Check this out!!

I used the stamp set Basic Buds (I am so glad this made the catalog!) and used the outline stamp as a background. I then sponged the edges of the Bashful Blue piece. I cut out the flower and the leaves (very time consuming - the flower) and added a ribbon. I put a dimensional behind the flower to give it a little 3D effect. I used Warm Words to stamp "adorable" because that is what he is. I thought this came out pretty good for my first real stamped scrapbook page.

Thanks for looking!

Another Swap From Stamp Club

Here is another swap from one of my ladies in stamp club. The lucky person this week is Melissa. What she did was take a card and switch the colors. This shows you that if you can't copy exactly, trade it out with different colors.

Thanks Melissa!

I believe this week has been a miracle week because I have had something to share almost every day. Today I'm going to share something we did in my last stamp club. It's a notebook cover using the Baroque Motifs stamp set. I love this stamp set. When I first saw it, I wasn't too thrilled about it but now...These are very easy and thanks to ChiChi Allen and her instructions on how to do these.

Thanks for looking, and have a great weekend!!

Gift Card Holder

As promised, here is an easy project to hold your gift cards.

1. Take your envelope and stamp whatever you want. Depending on how much you want covered, you can use a small stamp or a wheel. You can stamp inside if you want...it's totally up to you.
2. Fold the envelope in half.
3. Open it up and cut the flap in half.
4. Seal the right side of the envelope and then tuck in the left side. This is where you will insert your gift card.
5. Stamp your greeting and add the ribbon to close and you are finished.

Very, very easy and quick! I hope to see some of your creations soon!!

Stamps: Happy Everything
Paper: Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Taken With Teal stamp pad

Oh, What Fun!!!

What a great time was had at Open House Saturday!! We visited, laughed and of course, stamped. If you weren't able to make it Saturday, don't worry...there will be another one!

Last night was the last time for my stamp club to meet. We did some fun stuff! One of the things I did was challenge the ladies every month to stamp by swapping. We had a different theme every month and this month, I told the ladies it was their choice.

Here is one of the things made by one of the ladies, Valorie Hanna. I thought this was such a cute idea!! I love the colors she used and what a great momento. Thanks Valorie for sharing your creativity!!!

Come back tomorrow and I'll share with you a easy gift card idea!!

It's Here!!!

The new catalog is here!! It's a little thinner than previous years but has alot of new stuff. I must admit when I first looked through the catalog there wasn't much in there that I thought I had to have. But in the last couple of days, I've really looked through it and am already getting my first order together. If you want to check it out, click here to look at it.

If you want a catalog, contact me and I will get it to you!! Check out my website for information about the Open House in a couple of weeks! There will be a time to look, a time to visit, and a time to stamp. Don't miss it!!!
