Welcome to Stamping Fun with Kim...your next stop in the VC Rocks blog hop. You most likely must have joined me from Mary's blog. If you are joining part-way thru the hop or get lost, just go to the starting point which is the VCRocks home page.
This month is our last bloghop!! :-( VC Rocks will shutting down for the year at the end of the month. It's been a great summer!!!
This month's I have been busy with swaps and classes that I'm keeping this month's project simple. I'm getting ready for a Christmas card class at the end of the month. Here are two of the cards we will be doing.
Supplies Needed:
Stamp Set: All Holidays, Baroque Motifs
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, River Rock, Whisper White
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, River Rock
This is a really simple card but I love the look of it!
1. Randomly stamp the motif with River Rock onto the Whisper White. Do the same with the flower using Cherry Cobbler.
2. Attach the Whisper White piece onto the Cherry Cobbler (5 1/2 x 4 1/4).
3. I stamped the square piece with Cherry Cobbler and attached it to the River Rock piece.
4. I attached the Cherry Cobbler square offset then attached the River Rock piece.
Very simple!!!
My second card is just as easy but requires a little punching and cutting.
Supplies Needed:
Stamp Set: Seasons of Joy
Cardstock: Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White
Ink: Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry
Accessories: 1" Circle Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, Ticket Corner Punch, Silver Brads, Dimensionals, 5/8" Wide Rich Razzleberry Grosgrain Ribbon
1. Stamp the motif with Razzleberry on to the Razzleberry card base (5 1/2 x 4 1/4).
2. Stamp the greeting using Old Olive on to a scrap piece of Whisper White. I cut out the "&" symbol and the christmas tree.
3. I then punch out the snowflake using the 1" circle punch and one of the flowers with the 1/2" circle punch. I added a brad to the center of the snowflake.
4. Stamp the greeting again with Razzleberry on to Whisper White piece. I then added all the Olive pieces to this with dimensionals.
5. Using the ticket corner punch, punch the corners and then attach piece to the old olive piece.
5. Attach ribbon and then attach stamped image with dimensionals.
I hope you enjoyed the projects! I apologize for the fuzzy pictures. This is what you get when you take pictures using your phone camera.
